Two dead, 11 injured in Balochistan VBIED blast

According to Pakistani authorities, a motorcycle bomb detonation in the primary market of Rakhni, located in the Barkhan district of Balochistan, resulted in two fatalities and injuries to eleven individuals. The explosion also caused property damage to adjacent commercial establishments, structures, and vehicles. Law enforcement and Frontier Corps (FC) personnel were dispatched to the location to gather evidence and conduct a search for potential perpetrators. Government officials have instructed the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and associated agencies to enhance security measures in the region and expedite the investigation. This directive was issued in consideration of a comparable event in March, wherein four people died and five sustained injuries following the detonation of a motorcycle-borne improvised explosive device at a marketplace in the Khuzdar district of Balochistan.
