A large-scale simulated exercise was conducted by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police at Swat University to assess the efficiency, readiness, and coordination among various security and emergency response agencies. The exercise was overseen by the District Police Headquarters Attaullah Shams and involved the coordinated participation of personnel from the District Police, Elite Forces, Rescue 1122, and Civil Defence. The exercise involved the simulation of a terror threat scenario within the university premises, necessitating a rapid tactical response, evacuation procedures, and emergency medical aid. As reported by local media sources, law enforcement officials have communicated the importance of institutions of education being prepared for unanticipated events to the relevant parties. The sources also reported that the satisfaction of those same officials about the success of the exercise was equally expressed.
