Balochistan, Gwadar grenade attack kills constable

According to police sources, a law enforcement officer was killed in a grenade attack near Bilal Mosque on Syed Hashmi Avenue in Gwadar, Balochistan. The assailants discharged their weapons into the air and subsequently effected a hasty retreat. In the subsequent exchange of gunfire, one of the assailants was fatally shot, and the other sustained severe injuries. A police officer was reportedly killed, whilst three others sustained injuries in the attack. As indicated by data disseminated by the Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies (PICSS), 105 militant attacks transpired during the month, culminating in 228 casualties, comprising 73 security personnel, 67 civilians, and 88 militants.
