What happened

Authorities have reported that two separate explosive attacks were perpetrated against Pakistani security forces. The initial incident involved the remote detonation of an improvised explosive device (RCIED) in the Dasht Nallah area of Jiwani, which occurred as a Pakistan Coast Guard (PCG) patrol vehicle was transiting the area. The explosion resulted in damage to the vehicle and injuries to two PCG personnel; the remaining three occupants sustained no injuries. In a separate incident, an official of the Levies force was targeted in the Huramzai district of Pishin. While traveling in a personal vehicle, the official was subjected to an explosive detonation involving a motorcycle laden with explosives. The official was unharmed, although the vehicle was destroyed, as confirmed by authorities. An operation conducted by Levies personnel in the Wadh area of the Khuzdar district also successfully prevented a potential attack through the defusal of an explosive device. The device, planted on a motorcycle parked alongside the road by unidentified individuals, was disarmed by the Levies bomb squad following an inspection. It weighed 10 kilograms.
