Pakistan, reaching every child with polio teams

According to reports from local media outlets, Pakistan’s ongoing polio eradication campaign has reached the Swat district. In line with the directives issued by Deputy District Commissioner Shahzad Mehboob, vaccination teams have been mandated to extend their reach to every child in the district, to ensure they receive the polio vaccination. A virtual meeting was convened to review safety measures for vaccinators. The meeting instructed the administration, police, and health officials to enhance their logistical efforts to ensure the success of the immunisation campaign.
