What happened

Kraft Heinz has recalled approximately 167,000 kilograms (368,000 pounds) of Oscar Mayer turkey bacon due to potential listeria contamination. The products were manufactured between April 24 and June 11 in Newberry, South Carolina, and distributed across the United States, as well as the British Virgin Islands and Hong Kong.
The issue was identified through Kraft Heinz’s internal lab testing. The affected items include 12-ounce, 36-ounce, and 48-ounce packages of Oscar Mayer Turkey Bacon Original. These packages bear specific UPC and lot codes, with use-by dates ranging from July 18 to September 4. Consumers have been advised to discard or return the items. So far, no illnesses have been reported.
