What happened

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media division of the Pakistani military, has reported that Pakistani security forces neutralized five terrorists affiliated with the Indian-supported terrorist group Fitna-al-Khwarij. These operations took place in the Peshawar and North Waziristan districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). The elimination of the terrorists occurred during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) that involved an exchange of gunfire. A separate IBO in North Waziristan district resulted in the death of an additional terrorist, according to the ISPR. Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the deceased terrorists, who were reportedly engaged in active terrorist endeavors. The ISPR stated that ongoing sanitization operations are in progress to eliminate any remaining members of Indian-backed terrorist organizations. Director General of the ISPR, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, asserted that India has deployed resources to escalate terrorist activities within Pakistan, presenting what he described as ‘irrefutable evidence’ of Indian state-sponsored terrorism, allegedly directed by Indian military staff.
