What happened

At around 1 am on June 14, the residence of Mubarak Zeb Khan, Prime Minister’s Special Assistant and Member of the National Assembly (MNA), was the target of a rocket attack. According to Bajaur District police officer Waqas Rafique, the explosion only caused partial damage to the home’s entrance. No casualties nor injuries have been reported. It is the second time the residence has been attacked in the last two months: the first incident took place on May 14, when an explosion destroyed the main gate. Police authorities have launched an investigation to identify and detain the perpetrators.
