What happened

Following a mass shooting at a school in Graz, Austrian police investigators have reported the discovery of abandoned bomb-making plans at the residence of the deceased suspect. A search of the premises revealed a non-functional pipe bomb. The suspect, who perpetrated the killing of ten individuals at the BORG Dreierschützengasse high school the previous day, subsequently committed suicide on school grounds. The mass shooting resulted in the deaths of nine students, comprising six female and three male individuals aged 14 to 17, including one Polish national, as well as one teacher. Eleven individuals sustained injuries.
