Israeli security forces launch counterterrorism operation in Nablus

IDF, ISA, and Israel Border Police forces have begun a counterterrorism operation in Shechem (Nablus). So far, over 200 facilities have been searched, six warranted individuals have been arrested, and several weapons were located and confiscated. During the operation, two terrorists attempted to steal the weapon of one of the soldiers who was in the area. As a result of this act, there was a brief gunfire, which moderately injured one soldier and lightly injured three others. The two terrorists were killed. The injured soldiers were evacuated to receive medical treatment.
IDF forces are also conducting counterterrorism activity in northern Samaria. Here, they located and dismantled a cache of throwable explosives near Tulkarm. During another operation in the same area, two wanted individuals were arrested, and an improvised ‘Carlo’ weapon was confiscated.
