A chemical spill at Pilgrim’s Pride poultry farm in Cold Spring, Minnesota, sent over twenty employees to the hospital. The incident happened on Friday morning (June 6): a container of peracetic acid was spilled inside the plant, forcing the evacuation of the premises. Police and emergency services responded to the crisis, and the spill was contained inside the plant. Several employees were assessed at the scene, and 26 of them were taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
