Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) has closed 28 restaurants and food facilities since the beginning of the year for violating food safety laws and public health regulations. The closed facilities include a supermarket in Musaffah Industrial Area, a poultry farm in Al Ajban, two restaurants in Mohamed Bin Zayed City, and a grocery on Hamdan Island East 3. Through its social media pages, ADAFSA said that inspections continue to ensure that city establishments respect food safety standards. The authority also urged the public to report any food violation or any doubt about the contents of a food item by calling a government toll-free number.
