Reports in the media indicate that a bomb threat has been initiated at over twenty educational institutions in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. These schools reportedly received threatening via email in recent days, asserting that explosive ordnances would be located within their premises. Law enforcement personnel, including bomb disposal units, are currently inspecting more than ten schools situated in the municipalities of Trier, Aach, Bernkastel-Kues, and Idar-Oberstein. A spokesperson for the German police has stated that, due to the large quantity of threats received, the likelihood of a genuine emergency situation is considered to be low.
