India: NDA calls for global support against terrorism

The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) of India is initiating a diplomatic initiative to counter terrorism through the dispatch of multi-party delegations to foreign nations. These delegations will articulate India’s position concerning terrorist organizations operating from within Pakistan. Members of Parliament, representing both the NDA and prominent opposition parties, will engage with high-ranking authorities in Western countries and Islamic nations. The objective is to foster international cooperation in the fight against terrorism, under the banner of Operation Sindoor. Government officials have indicated that a multi-party delegation of Members of Parliament, including representatives from NDA coalition partners and leading opposition figures, is currently being established. Specifically, distinct delegations, each consisting of a minimum of five to eight Members of Parliament, are anticipated to undertake ten-day visits to countries such as the United Kingdom, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar, among others. Each delegation will be accompanied by a representative from the Ministry of External Affairs, according to official sources. This undertaking represents an unparalleled diplomatic engagement by the Indian government on the international stage, underscoring India’s unified political stance against terrorism.
