Two individuals suspected of being affiliated with the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were apprehended by the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of Pakistan during covert operations in and around Sahiwal. Notably, in a raid conducted in the vicinity of a village situated on the Faisalabad-Sahiwal road in Noor Shah, the CTD apprehended an individual suspected of planning a terrorist attack. During the operation, it was found that an improvised explosive device (IED), along with several other potentially hazardous materials, had been recovered. These included items such as a dry cell battery, security cards, detonators, cables, a mobile phone, electrical circuit boards, an iron box filled with nails, a handgun, bullets, and cash.
