As reported by local media outlets, a territorial control operation conducted by the Carabinieri Forestali of the Capaccio Paestum Unit, located in the province of Salerno, Italy, has resulted in the seizure of an area measuring approximately 2,000 square metres. The site, subject to landscape and environmental restrictions, was utilised for the disposal of substantial quantities of non-hazardous special waste, attributable to agricultural activities. The manager of the agricultural company that owns the land has been reported to the Judicial Authority for violation of landscape and environmental regulations, as well as for illegal waste disposal.
