Pakistan: Pasni blast kills two security guards

According to official reports, two security personnel were killed and one civilian injured when an improvised explosive device (IED) was used to target a car at Muskan Chowk in Pasni town, Gwadar district, Balochistan. A senior police officer has stated that the vehicle explosion has resulted in widespread panic amongst the general public. The officer further noted that law enforcement personnel have rapidly proceeded to the scene of the incident, where they have begun the process of transferring the bodies of the deceased and the wounded to the district hospital. The incident occurred in the aftermath of a grenade attack in the Dhahar area of Kacchi district and a cattle office in Sibi. No casualties were reported. Concurrently, armed confrontations have been reported in Sui tehsil, Jani Beeri area, arising from a dispute over land. The resulting clashes resulted in the death of three members of the Bugti tribe and injuries to two others.
