What happened

It is estimated that a minimum of 40 individuals sustained injuries in an explosion after a tanker caught fire in the Noshki district of Balochistan. According to official sources, the tanker was stationary within a warehouse when the fire broke out, a probable occurrence due to a short circuit during welding work on the tanker. Several firefighters reportedly engaged in the efforts to extinguish the blaze, as well as four police officers who responded to the scene sustained injuries of a serious nature. Individuals near the tanker sustained severe burn injuries. Relevant authorities confirmed that 28 individuals are currently undergoing medical treatment for serious injuries. In addition, more than 10 individuals with minor injuries have been discharged following treatment. Shahid Rind, the official spokesperson for the Balochistan government, reported that more than 30 individuals sustained burn injuries in the incident. It was also stated that local hospitals in the affected area had been placed on high alert. An investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
