The Italian Ministry of Health has issued a recall for a batch of cloves from Indonesia due to the presence of pesticides in excess of the permitted legal limits. In the interests of consumer safety, the manufacturing company has recommended that consumers refrain from consuming the affected product. Consumers are advised to return the product to the point of sale. It is noteworthy that since the beginning of 2025, a total of 45 recalls have been documented, affecting 184 distinct products. This figure signifies a substantial surge in reported cases compared to previous years.
