The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has disclosed a financial recompense amounting to Rs0.5 million for information leading to the identification of the individual responsible for the suicide bombing (SB) that occurred during the attack on Darul Uloom Haqqania in Nowshera’s Akora Khattak. This attack resulted in 6 fatalities and 20 injuries. Following the incident, a First Information Report (FIR) was lodged at Mardan’s CTD police station, and according to the details provided, the case has been filed against the suicide attacker on behalf of Abdul Haq Sani, the injured son of JUI-S chief Maulana Hamidul Haq Haqqani, among six people killed in the blast. According to official sources, the FIR specifically cites section 7 (punishment for acts of terrorism) of the Pakistani Anti-Terrorism Act 1997.
