Global operation disrupts phishing platform LabHost

Police forces from 19 countries collaborated to stop one of the world’s largest phishing platforms, LabHost. The operation, coordinated by Europol, led to the arrest of 37 suspects, including 4 in the United Kingdom. LabHost has been shut down. The investigation was conducted by the UK’s London Metropolitan Police with support from Europol and J-CAT. Europol has been coordinating efforts since September 2023, including an operational sprint to develop national intelligence. During the action, Europol was also assisted by the Dutch police.
