Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) Mission Technologies segment in McLean, Virginia, introduces the REMUS 130 unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV) for maritime surveillance and military operations. This third-generation REMUS 130, part of the HII REMUS series, offers enhanced underwater capabilities, including portability, seamless payload integration, operational depths of up to 100 meters, and a battery life of up to 10 hours. It is versatile for tasks such as data collection, offshore exploration, search and rescue missions, and mine countermeasures. The REMUS 130 features modern core electronics, navigation, and communication systems with modular and open architecture interfaces for flexible payload integration.
